***

Fanny and Alexander is a Swedish drama, written and directed by Ingemar Bergman. The movie was made in 1982, but the story line was set in 1907-09. I just love the Swedish Christmas decor and how the family celebrated Christmas. I basically adore the whole setting. The large apartment is amazing. For me, it was a perfect Christmas except for the drama, the drinking and all the other issues.

So, I'm sitting here in the land down under, it's a windy Spring day, the sun is shining and a pleasant temperature of  23°c/73.4F outside. I dreaming away to a Swedish old fashioned higher middle class Christmas with excess food, which could feed a village, situated in an enormous apartment perfectly decorated for Christmas... ♥

Wow, The Christmas Shack...

So,

We went to Westfield Garden City to have something to eat the other day... Little did I know that I would walk towards Christmas heaven when we strolled around a bit. Holy moly, The Christmas shop chain ' The Christmas Shack' which has one of their main shops in Slacks Creek, not far from us or Garden City, has opened a pop-up store inside the shopping centre - and they were playing Christmas music too!  Bliss♥ OMGoodness, so much Christmas at once ♥

I will definitely return and inhale more Christmas spirit the next time I'm at Garden City. Hope you enjoy the photos... Kind of an overload, I know... So much to see, so little time ♥

A pretty awesome Christmas shop, don't you think?!
