Årlig jullunch på kusten

Varje år åker vi ner till min morbror med fru som bor på Guld Kusten. Där äter vi, och ett gäng andra släktingar, jullunch och tar ett dopp i poolen.

Every year we go down the Gold Coast and have Christmas lunch with my Uncle and his wife plus a few other relatives. As we don't have a pool ourselves, we truly enjoy getting into theirs.

Fourth of Advent

Jamen, missade totalt att fira fjärde Advent igår. Vi var iväg på bbq hos svärföräldrarna hela dagen och jag tände inte det fjärde ljuset förrän sent på kvällen.

I totally forgot to celebrate Fourth of Advent yesterday as we were away all day at a bbq at the in-laws. I didn't light the fourth and last candle until very late last night.

Julstämningen börjar infinna sig

Äntligen känner jag att julen närmar sig. Granen är klädd och huset ser någorlunda städat ut. Visst finns det mer att göra, men det börjar kännas som jul. Temperaturen ligger på 32c i skuggan, solen skiner och jag njuter av Jamie Olivers juldvd-set med luftkonditioneringen på.

Christmas is truly on its way. The tree is up and fully decorated. Sure, there's more to do, but at least it's started to feel like Christmas in here. Outside it's sunny and hot, I'm enjoying the aircon as well as Jamie Oliver's Christmas DVD set.

Julpapper... Christmas wrapping paper

Jag har dille på julpapper och MÅSTE varje jul köpa fler rullar. Införskaffade plastlåda från Kamprads stora varuhus - alla rullar fick dock inte plats...

I'm a bit cray cray when it comes to Christmas gift wrap. Every year I have to buy a few rolls. My collection is quite large. I purchased a plastic box at IKEA, perfect for wrapping paper, but I couldn't fit them all in...

Holiday catch up

Yesterday was  a clean-up day at school, so my kids didn't have to go. Instead, Jonah went to work with his dad and Lily and I had a lovely catch/up with our friends from school.
